We have our July’s winner. While the new voting method was a bit more tedious then I like to deal with we prevailed and we have a winner folks! Mr. Porkchop the English Bulldog submitted his VERY patriotic pic for July’s Patriotic Pooch contest.

Voting now open for July’s contest. We have yet another way to vote for your fav pic. You have to be logged into facebook and click like. The pic with the most LIKES by end of voting Monday 11:30pm wins. You can vote by CLICKING HERE.
August’s contest will be slightly different we are working on finalizing the new rules but we are doing our best to make it as cheater proof as possible.

Due to cheaters trying to abuse the system and take advantage of our monthly free contests we have put a halt to this month’s contest and the finalists will have to revote which causes a delay. You cheaters should be ashamed of yourself for ruining it for everyone involved. The limit is one vote per day, and instead multiple votes are being made through generated IP address in the office during the work week. After investigation of our server logs we have found that multiple IPs are voting back to back from the same visit which indicates cheating and inaccurate votes. This is really disturbing because it puts the monthly contests in jeapordy entirely.
On the bright side…we have a Christmas in July sale going on in Etsy.

Bleck the Rules: I know I know I dislike rules as much as the next gal but we do have a couple that are as follows – 3 submissions per household. Submissions must include in the photo description area the names of the pups and a caption explaining the photo. These can be as creative as from your pups point of view, or as logical as you explaining what the pic represents but it MUST include the name or names of the pets in the photo and a photo caption.
How to Enter: Reply to this event that you will be attending and then post your photos.
The entry deadline is 7/16/10 at which point finalists will be chosen and voting will begin and be open until the 23rd.
